Blue Mountain had plenty of character interaction along with the perfect blend of heart tugging moments, passion and humor.

Swept Away By Romance

There isn't a Cardeno C. book I don't like. There's not one I don't devour the moment I get my grabby hands on it. CC just writes exactly what I love to read - a sweet but intense romance. ...About halfway through, when Kai's true story comes to light, I shed a tear or ten (as I always do in a CC book, because that's what he does to me every damn time), but then rejoiced when he and Abel finally get it together, when all the truth comes out and the two complete their bond. Holy hot boysecks, Batman!! ...Sweet, despite the violence inside, with an intense emotional connection between the two main characters - this is a typical CC book that will make you smile and laugh and tear up.

My Fiction Nook

There are not many books that can get to me in so few pages, it takes a very talented author to make 80 pages feel like 300. This is a very creative twist to It's a Wonderful Life and I enjoyed the unique timeline shifts in the story. Shiloh and Travis are two very likeable characters and it didn't take me long to become invested in their lives. This will be a holiday story that I will read every year if for no other reason than to remind myself how important the choices we make in life are to so many people. If you like your holiday stories short and beautifully emotional than In Another Life should be in your library!

Guilty Indulgence

My love for a good angsty read aside, I've found that the thing I like best about Cardeno C.'s stories is that the couples easily connect and have wonderful chemistry....This book touched me. I'm not sure if it was the sweet friendship, the sense that these two were meant for each other or the fact that their families and friends were so supportive and loving, but I was all in almost from the moment I read the first page. The wedding announcements that preface each chapter were amusing and I adored how the author used them to inject humor and set the theme throughout the book....Walk With Me is the seventh book in the Home series, but can easily be read as a stand-a-lone. I haven't read the rest of the series and I had no problem following along. If the thought of reading through the whole series to get to this one feels a bit daunting, I thinks it's safe to just skip ahead and pick this one up.
