"Jared, it's me."
Jared McFarland sighed and moved his gaze away from the jumbled numbers on the screen to the answering machine on the other side of his desk.
"I know you're there. Pick up the phone."
Susan couldn't know he was there. She lived in Phoenix, and he lived a hundred twenty-five miles west in Hope, Arizona.
"The reason I know you're there is you never leave your property and it's nine o'clock at night, which means there's not enough light for you to be working outside."
Susan's ability to read his mind terrified him.
"Plus, I know you're on your computer."
Lucky guess.
"And the reason I know you're on your computer is last time I visited, I uploaded a program that tracks everything you do on there."
Jared froze, thinking through the ramifications of that claim.

I would recommend this book for anyone looking for a short and sweet romance.
The way they came together was nice. The sex they had was hot. They were like night & day…The saying opposites attract… and I would say that totally applies to Jared and Lucas… It worked. They made a cute couple.
Another sexy, hot, sweet and incredibly poignant story from one of my favorite M/M authors, Cardeno C. This is a perfect book for any reader who might be new to the M/M genre and would like to "get their toes wet" so to speak. McFarland's Farm is a novella but it is yummy, filled with emotion, and oh yeah, some totally scorching hot sex scenes. The scenes between Jared and Lucas are also filled with warmth and yes, love, and I felt a deeper connection to these two delicious characters than I did in many books 4 times the length of this story....It was absolutely wonderful and I loved these two characters. I definitely recommend this book for all M/M fans and even for readers who don't normally try this genre. It's fantastic!
I loved 'McFarland's Farm', book one in a new series entitled 'Hope'. This author is a wonderful weaver of stories that always resonate within me....Loved it. Loved it. Loved it. Sweet, sexy, gentle, hot, and beautiful, this is a love story worth reading and rereading. I'm adding it to my list of favorites and the guys, too. I can't wait for the next installment!
