The first thing I hated about him was his smile. Nobody genuinely smiles that much. It’s fake. I don’t trust fake people; they tend to hide things. And Korban Keller was as fake as they came.
He was older than me. Not by much, just a few years. With our packs being relatively close in proximity, I had seen him a handful of times when we were boys.
My clearest memory of him back then was of his eyes—they were a rich navy, the color of the deepest part of the ocean. He had a weird habit of tracking me with those eyes, and I wondered if it was because he planned to attack me or if he was waiting to catch me making a mistake so he could call me out on it in front of everybody. Whatever the reason, it distracted me, so when we were…

In Your Eyes is a lovely story that looks at the way two men with different strengths complement and support one another, making them both stronger. ....we see how Korbin helps Samuel connect with his heart, to finally make room for emotion and feeling in the midst of all the intellect. It is the perfect true mates fantasy, two men who are only complete when they are together, who need one another to become whole. Outside of the relationship, the story also focuses on the larger pack conflicts... Cardeno C really writes such romantic, heartwarming stories and In Your Eyes is no exception. I loved both Samuel and Korbin, and especially loved the way the two men make each other full and whole. I especially enjoyed seeing Samuel finally find the other side of himself, to learn to feel instead of just think with Korbin's help. It is sweet and romantic and really wonderfully done.
If you like m/m paranormal/shifter books then this series would be a good one to check out.
Cardeno C. always manages to craft tales full of heart and love.....This book is a lovely story that portrays two very different men that complement and support one another thereby making them both stronger....This story really captured the "true mates" idea perfectly because it depicted two men who are only complete and whole when together. I love that Cardeno C really writes romantic and heartwarming tales because Samuel and Korbin's story was so sweet, romantic and wonderfully done. I honestly loved every second and can be read as a standalone.
In Your Eyes was the complete package—love, great sex and hot men who weren’t afraid to show their inner beauty.
