The fact that we get to see them grow up together; it was just precious and enthralling and like an inner tube ride down a long and winding river on a warm day with a great breeze. You just know this is a once in a lifetime journey you are never going to forget. ... Some authors I just connect with immediately and this is one of those authors. Wake Me Up Inside is about the "who" not the what or the why or the how. A wonderful story that should be savored like the best chocolate. There is no better place to lose yourself for a few hours than in this author's fine words!
I don't even have to tell you that the writing was brilliant, but I will anyway because I want you to understand why this book impressed me so. ... Asher and Daniel are like night and day, but the author managed to bring them together in a believable way and made it look effortless. Only the author's ability to understand the intricacies of people's personalities and how they can relate to each other can bring this about. ... The connection between these two is not something I could easily imagine, but Cardeno C presented it in a manner that captivated my attention and after reading these guys' journey I wouldn't have it any other way. And it is here that the characters' development…
Asher is a Dom with a capital D. He demands that things be done his way and likes his regimented orderly life. ... Daniel has been searching all his life for that sense of family and belonging and he thinks he has found it in Asher. .. If you like your stories messy and your heroes flawed, then Something in the Way He Needs is a must!
The author takes you on a beautiful ride through the political world and what it means to be together against all odds and the huge sacrifice for pure love. I completely loved this story and I couldn't recommend it enough! Everyone needs to read Strange Bedfellows by Cardeno C!!!
